Went down to the beach again this morning, just in time to see Karumba Gulf float free of the beach! Exciting moment! Unfortunately, I missed the initial push away from the beach, I didn’t realise it would go so quickly, so by the time I put down things and grabbed the camera, she was free and moving away!

Still under tow from the tug boat, but must have been a great feeling for all involved to see Karumba Gulf back at sea!
And coming back through the Entrance, under her own steam, on the way to Paynesville. Great to see you back Karumba Gulf – well done to everyone involved!
