A lovely drive to this beautiful little spot. Unfortunately by the time we arrived the sun was gone, so not ideal photo shooting conditions, and when I did get my camera out, I discovered that I must have turned it on accidentally when putting it in the bag, so the battery was almost dead! So disappointed after driving all that way to take photos! It did last for a few shots, and I had my back up camera (not nearly as good) plus my phone, and my husband took some shots with his camera, so we ended up with a few good shots.
Very nice hot pie and coffee in town, and a friendly local invited us to the ANZAC ceremony which was being held on the next day. We were not able to stay, or to attend, but it was a nice gesture from him. I hear it was a very moving ceremony the next morning at dawn.

A Trip to Raymond Island today to photograph some Koalas and we were not disappointed as a short walk around the island soon revealed many Koalas, sleeping and feeding in the trees.
But before that, we walked around the boardwalk and out to the seat on the end of the island, to watch the boats coming and going.
Superb day for a bit of fishing!
Further around on the island, we spotted our first Koala, having a wonderful feast of gum leaves, and apparently enjoying the sunshine.
Then we found this little sweetie!
Then I spotted this one, so cute as he turned slowly to look at me.
This one could not have cared less about what we were doing! He just slept on!
Snuggling in the gums!
Just hanging out in the tree.
And last but by no means least, this little honey!
A recent trip to Metung for coffee by the water. Such a great spot for photos!
Heritage Tea Rooms in Bruthen, really cute and quaint. Pleasant and friendly environment, good coffee and lovely home made scones and jam. A very pleasant afternoon tea indeed!
Reflections on the water along the way. It was such a dull day, and the photo would have been better with bright sunlight, but I still thought it was a nice shot!
Sometimes just nice to go somewhere for coffee and then meander home via the forest.
