These noisy, cheeky and very aggressive little birds seem to be able to find us no matter where we try to feed the other birds. They come in couples, usually about 10 or more, and they screech and squawk and make such a racket, all the other birds fly away.
But they are pretty, and they snuggle together on the verandah rail and look so pathetic, I can’t help but admire their tenacity and their willingness to compromise on all things except who gets to eat the seed we put out!
This one looked at me as if to say “What do you want?” or perhaps “What are you doing” as I pointed my camera at him!
And this one just sat there, keeping his little red eye on me!
